FAQs
Search 12 common questions.
Is my vehicle really scrapped?
Yes. Only authorised scrapping facilities dismantle your vehicle, and you receive a Certificate of Deposit the same day.
What documents do I need?
The original RC, a valid photo ID, address proof and a cancelled cheque or bank details. Loan-linked vehicles also need a bank NOC.
How is the price decided?
By vehicle type, age, weight and condition, plus the current steel price. The online quote is a range; the final amount is confirmed at inspection.
Is pickup free?
Yes, within our service cities. Non-running vehicles are towed at no cost.
How soon do I get paid?
Payment goes to your bank account after the vehicle is accepted and deregistered, usually within 24 hours.
What is the Certificate of Deposit?
It is official proof that your vehicle has been handed over for scrapping. It can help you get a rebate on a new vehicle where state benefits apply.
Can I scrap a vehicle that has a loan?
Yes, with a No Objection Certificate from your bank. We can guide you through getting it.
What if I lost my RC?
Apply for a duplicate RC, or share an FIR copy. We will tell you what your state needs.
Do you accept vehicles from another state?
Yes, if registered in a state we serve. Pickup city matters more than registration state.
Can a company sell its vehicle?
Yes. Provide a board resolution or authority letter along with company ID proof.
Can I cancel after booking?
Yes, any time before pickup, at no charge.
Will I get a rebate on a new vehicle?
Where your state offers one, the Certificate of Deposit is the document you present. Check current rules locally.
